Legion lottery patrons help Sarnia food bank

A Sarnia food bank facing shortages is saying thanks after receiving a boost from local lottery-goers.“It will make a huge impact for us,” said Inn of the Good Shepherd executive director Jack Christine, after Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62 Catch the Ace patrons Thursday donated more than 2,800 kilograms (6,185 pounds) of food and $700.“It will give us more food to give out to the local community,” said Christine.“It’s a great thing that the Legion has done.
