Sarnia eyeing overnight, on-call transportation options

When city buses aren’t running, Rob Hughes says he can’t really go anywhere.The wheelchair-bound Sarnia man said he books days in advance for Care-a-Van, Lambton Elderly Outreach or Red Cross rides to medical appointments and work, or takes the city bus system during operating hours.But at night, he said, there’s nothing.The former Paralympian who works keeping stats for the Sarnia Sting, said he eschews after-game get-togethers because he doesn’t have a way to get back
