Construction of long-awaited K to 12 school in Forest set to begin this month

After a decade of planning, construction of a kindergarten to Grade 12 school in Forest is expected to begin this month.The province and the Lambton Kent District school board have accepted a bid by Forest-based Wellington Builders to construct Blue Coast district school to replace an existing high school and four elementary schools when the new site opens in an estimated two years.The $66-million bid by Wellington Builders was the lowest of three received for construction of the school expecte
