M&S rolls out electric trucks across food logistics network

M&S is introducing 10 electric trucks across its food and fashion supply chains to cut emissions from deliveries to depots and stores.
The retailer is rolling out 10 DAF XD electric tractor units, with five already in operation and the remaining vehicles set to enter service later this year.
One of the trucks features an integrated inverter that draws power from the vehicle’s main battery to run the refrigeration unit in its chilled trailer.
