Driver in Serpent River was prohibited: OPP

The driver of a side-by-side wasn’t supposed to be behind the wheel, Ontario Provincial Police say.He was stopped at a RIDE check at Village Road and Walkhouse Bay Road in Serpent River First Nation last Saturday.Peter Squiers, 34, of Serpent River, was charged with operation while prohibited. His court date is Nov. 8 in Elliot Lake.
