Man dies after assault outside Nanaimo strip club

A 27-year-old man has died from injuries he sustained during an assault outside a Nanaimo strip club.
At approximately 1 a.m. on Friday, July 17, a 27-year-old man was assaulted outside Sweet Spot Lounge in Nanaimo.
The victim was transported for medical treatment with injuries considered to be life threatening.
Despite extensive medical treatment, the victim died from the injuries he sustained.
A 33-year-old man suspect has been charged with manslaughter.
