Buffalo man gets 40 years in prison for stabbing family members

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo man was sentenced Tuesday morning to 40 years in prison for multiple stabbings in 2021, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Officials said on Aug. 26, Davante Thompson, 27, stabbed a family member more than a dozen times in their shared home on Humboldt Parkway.
