Buffalo man admits to possession of child pornography in connection with blackmail

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- The U.S. Attorney's Office announced Monday that a Buffalo man plead guilty to cyberstalking and possession of child pornography after blackmailing a 15-year-old victim.
In January 2021, 25-year-old Raymond Brooks contacted a young girl on Snapchat and persuaded her to send him sexually explicit images of herself. He then blackmailed the 15-year-old into sending more images and videos, claiming that he would release the existing ones to the public if she didn't.
