Buffalo man admits to attempted burglary, assaulting firefighters

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo man pleaded guilty last week to two separate indictments for an attempted burglary and assaulting firefighters who were attempting to give him aid, the Erie County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.Officials said on Aug. 16, 2022, 43-year-old Titus D. Smith pushed an air conditioner out of a window in an apartment on Auburn Avenue in order to gain entrance. He acted in concert with another individual and left with two bags of belongings from the home.
