Mears secures £4.2bn pipeline after contract winning spree

Mears has secured more than £1.4bn of housing maintenance work in the first half as its order book climbed to a record £4.2bn despite profits easing during a busy period of contract mobilisations.
The public sector housing maintenance specialist said it remained on track to meet full-year expectations after winning two major new clients and successfully defending a string of long-term maintenance contracts.
