Bob Holt-led EARNZ picks up GEM for £23m

Energy services ‘buy-and-build’ group EARNZ has struck its biggest deal since being launched by former Mears chief Bob Holt, agreeing a takeover worth up to £24m for London building maintenance specialist GEM.
The deal will more than double the scale of Cheltenham-based EARNZ and give the group a major foothold in London as it builds towards a £130m turnover energy, maintenance and decarbonisation business.
