‘Explosion sound’ heard before fire near Stanmore Library

Firefighters were called to Stanmore Hill after a fire broke out close to Stanmore Library, damaging bushes, fencing and a nearby garage.
The incident happened on Saturday evening (8 August), with London Fire Brigade called shortly after 9.20pm.
