Major A41 works to begin with lane and full closures expected for up to two years

Major works to strengthen the A41 Brent Cross Flyover will begin next month, with drivers from Harrow being warned to expect delays on some of north London’s busiest roads.
Transport for London (TfL) will start the first phase of the project overnight on 24 September 2026, with work on the flyover expected to continue for up to two years.
From the evening of 24 September, the A41 Brent Cross Flyover will be reduced to one lane in each direction while the work is carried out.
