Wickes retail sales return to growth as TradePro powers Q2

Wickes’ retail division returned to growth in its second quarter as rising TradePro demand helped group revenue climb 2.3 per cent to £483m.
The home improvement retailer recorded a 0.9% increase in group like-for-like sales during the 13 weeks to 27 June, with growth driven by higher customer numbers and volumes.
Retail revenue increased 1.8 per cent to £366m following a 0.4 per cent decline in the first quarter. Like-for-like sales edged up 0.6 per cent, despite a deflationar
