Driver charged after truck found in north-end ditch in Sault

A truck was found in a ditch at a north-end intersection late on June 18.Police spoke with the driver in the area of Third Line East and Old Garden River Road, a release says.Ian Virta, 48, of Hamilton, was charged with operation while impaired, alcohol and/or drug, having a blood/alcohol level of more than 80 milligrams and dangerous operation.His court date is July 27.
