Careless driving costs Sault man $1,000

A man was fined $1,000 for his driving on a Buckley street this winter. Geoffrey McLurg pleaded guilty to careless driving on Thursday.He was driving his SUV on Turner Avenue on Feb. 21, said assistant Crown attorney Chris Thompson. McLurg drove without care for his former intimate partner who was on the street. The pair had argued.
