Sarnia airport fly-in a hit despite flyer-foiling forecast

A poor weather forecast meant fewer pilots and planes at the return of a fly-in at Sarnia’s airport Saturday.“Unfortunately the weather around us isn’t the best, so the fly-in community just isn’t coming,” said Bruce Bond, one of the Sarnia Ontario Aviation Rally (SOAR) event organizers and a past president with Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) Flight 7.More than 100 were expected, but maybe six turned out, with the threat of rain, he said.Nevertheless
