Two dead after head-on crash on Trans-Canada Highway near Lantzville

Two men are dead after a head-on collision on the Trans-Canada Highway near Lantzville early this morning.
The incident happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 19 just after 3 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, when a blue Kia Sedona minivan and a grey Volkswagen Jetta collided head-on, near Ware Road in Lantzville.
The two men who were in the Volkswagen died at the scene.
The occupant of the minivan, a 16-year-old female from Nanaimo, was arrested at the scene and faces charges of impaired operation c
