Island college urges caution after bear spotted on campus

Students, staff and visitors at Camosun College’s Interurban campus are being urged to stay alert after a black bear was spotted nearby on the afternoon of July 28.
The bear was reported near the campus at about 12:30 p.m. and was seen heading toward the VI Tech Park, according to a campus safety alert issued by the college.
