The Comox Valley Sports Centre reopened at 3 p.m. on July 29 after closing due to a low-level ammonia leak earlier that morning.
According to the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) statement on Facebook, the Sports Centre was “temporarily closed after a low-level ammonia alarm was triggered in the facility’s refrigeration system.”
