Crown contends Campbell shot, killed man at Nanaimo Wendy’s as trial starts

A gun and phones were collected by police when accomplices failed to dispose of evidence after Yasin Khan was killed in Nanaimo four years ago, prosecutors are theorizing.
Ronald Joseph Campbell, 42 when charged with the first-degree murder in 2024, was arrested in relation to the incident and his trial began Monday, July 20 at B.C. Supreme Court in Nanaimo, with Justice Douglas Thompson presiding.
