Peter Cullen, voice of Transformers’ Optimus Prime, dies at 85

Peter Cullen, the Canadian actor best known as the voice of Optimus Prime in The Transformers and Eeyore in Winnie-the-Pooh, died Wednesday at his Los Angeles home at age 85.While he was born in Montreal, Cullen attended Kingston’s Regiopolis College (now Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School) before returning to Montreal to study at the National Theatre School of Canada.He graduated from the National Theatre School in 1963, in one of the first classes to do so.A voice to be rem
