Overnight lane closures planned for I-64

Starting Sunday, there will be overnight alternating lane closures on Interstate 64 East and West in Franklin County.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet stated that overnight alternating lane closures will occur nightly from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. from Sunday through Friday, Aug. 21, on I-64 East and West between mile markers 53 and 58 (between U.S. 127 and U.S. 60). The overnight alternating lane closures are necessary for contract crews to apply a concrete overlay to the I-64 bridges over U.S.
