Fit4Life hosts local blood drive

In a time when the American Red Cross has declared its second-ever national blood supply crisis due to blood donations falling to a four-year low, Fit4Life on Monday opened its doors to people willing to donate.One individual was Garrett Turner, a member of the Franklin County Fire Department who has been on a long journey of blood donations, and sees it as a way to give back.
“I started donating blood two years ago,” Turner told The State Journal. “One of the older captains wa
