Man Utd secure land for giant 100,000-seat stadium

Manchester United have secured the majority of the land needed to build a new 100,000-capacity stadium, marking a major step forward in Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s ambition to replace Old Trafford.
The club has acquired a 25-acre triangle of land between Wharfside Way, Europa Way and John Gilbert Way, immediately behind the Stretford End, providing enough space to construct what would become the largest football stadium in the UK.
