Popular Kenton chippy in running to be named UK’s best takeaway

A Harrow fish and chip shop has been named among the top 40 takeaways in the UK as part of a major national competition.
Skipjacks, on Streatfield Road in Kenton, has made the longlist for Takeaway of the Year at the National Fish & Chip Awards 2027. The awards are organised by the National Federation of Fish Friers, with businesses judged on areas including food quality, customer service, industry knowledge and sustainability.
