East Croydon station’s closed footbridge finally set to open after 14-year wait

A long-running saga of a footbridge across East Croydon station that’s been closed to the public since it was built in 2012 may finally be heading to a resolution.

As part of a station upgrade to replace the subway that linked the platforms at East Croydon station, a large footbridge with lifts was constructed at the far end, replacing an old parcels footbridge connected to the neighbouring post office building.
