Police to test facial recognition cameras on the London Underground

Facial recognition trials are coming to selected London Underground stations as the British Transport Police tests whether the technology can be used to find people wanted for serious offences.

The Transport for London (TfL)-supported trial will see Live Facial Recognition cameras deployed at stations selected by British Transport Police (BTP) using intelligence and crime data.
The cameras will scan the faces of people passing throu
