Cardzone to shut more stores as high street retreat continues

Cardzone is set to close its Card Centre shop in Newport as it continues to reduce its high street estate.
The Commercial Street branch has launched a closing-down sale offering 20 per cent off all remaining stock, although its final day of trading has yet to be confirmed.
Cardzone acquired Card Centre in 2014 as part of a deal involving 14 stores across Wales, before later expanding the brand into Northern Ireland.
It has closed several branches since 2023, including shops in Beeston, Blackpool
