Victim badly hurt in St. George's Avenue assault

A victim suffered serious injuries in an assault on St. George’s Avenue, police said late Thursday. The assailant fled west on that street. Several Sault Ste. Marie Police Service units, including emergency services and forensic identification, responded to the incident.
