Sault maps plan to grow agri-food economy in Sault, Algoma

Sault Ste. Marie and the Algoma District are growing the agri-food sector and are mapping out a plan to continue that growth. City council recently received a report from its economic development division that the sector is showing “measurable growth and diversification.” The report is in response to a resolution passed last year asking the economic development division to map existing programs, identify opportunities and suggest recommendations to accelerate value-added processing,
