Plaza owner mulls options following unsolicited bid

The owner of one of Sault Ste. Marie’s largest shopping plazas is considering its options after an unsolicited purchase offer. Axia Real Assets is offering $5.28 per unit of Plaza Retail REIT. Its nearly 200 assets in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada includes Northern Avenue Plaza and KFC on Trunk Road.
