Pedestrian dies in Saturday crash on Walpole Island: police

A pedestrian is dead after a Saturday crash on Walpole Island First Nation, provincial police say. Walpole Island police, OPP officers and paramedics responded after a sport utility vehicle and pedestrian collided on Chiefs Road, between Tecumseh and Austin roads, about 11:30 p.m., a Lambton OPP release said.
