Vancouver Island University athletes recognized by CCAA for academics

Players that compete for Vancouver Island University were recognized for their achievements in the classroom by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.
The CCAA, a governing body for college sports in Canada, granted 28 VIU Mariners academic all-Canadian award honours, recognizing “outstanding student-athletes who have successfully combined academic excellence with high-level athletic performance throughout the (2025/26) college season,” stated a Sept. 14 press release.
