RCMP: Speed ‘likely’ a factor in fatal Parksville crash

A 33-year-old person died in a single-vehicle crash in Parksville on July 25.
An Oceanside RCMP officer came upon the scene where an Infiniti G35 had collided with a tree at the intersection of Highway 19A and Morison Avenue at approximately 4:30 a.m., according to Sgt. Shane Worth.
“Unfortunately, the 33-year-old driver and lone occupant was deceased,” Worth told the PQB News. “Speed is a likely contributing factor.”
