Divisions within B.C. Conservative caucus fester as party president quits
It was already clear that division and dissension within the B.C. Conservative caucus was rampant when Kamloops Centre MLA Peter Milobar quit the party last week to sit as an Independent.
Now party president Aisha Estey has resigned after five years at the helm, saying she plans to seek “new opportunities,” and former federal Conservative Party candidate Mauro Francis has taken her place. Vice-president Sharon White quit alongside Estey and was replaced by board member Pavneet Singh.
