‘A lot of work to be done’ at Bald Range wildfire in Summerland

While the Bald Range wildfire rages on, most Summerland residents were able to return home on Thursday but remain on evacuation alert.
Close to 450 properties are no longer under evacuation orders, except for those on Garnet Valley Road north of Wildhorse Road, said Summerland CAO Graham Statt on Aug. 20.
He added that residents of around 80 properties still can not return home and that the evacuation order remains in Electoral Area F (Faulder).
