Kingston man charged after allegedly stealing water from Gananoque hydrants

A Kingston resident has been arrested and charged after allegedly stealing water from hydrants in the Town of Gananoque .According to police, officers were informed of the company’s actions on June 4 and 5.On June 13, a pull of water was detected by Public Utility employees, and officers on patrol located the suspect vehicle and driver who was placed under arrest.As a result, a 44-year-old was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and possession property obtained by crime under $5
