Cornwall police charge man with assaulting ex, striking her dog

A 33-year-old man from Cornwall is facing three charges tied to several police investigations.Police said officers involved in an earlier investigation that led to other breach of probation charges in March alleged the man had assaulted and choked his ex-girlfriend, and caused unnecessary pain to the woman’s dog by striking it. An officer went to a correctional facility where the man was being held to lay the additional charges on Wednesday.The man was charged with assault causing bodily
