A 34-year-old woman faces an assault charge after a recent incident in Dresden.On Aug. 6, just before midnight, Chatham-Kent police officers responded to a report of an assault involving two individuals who were not known to one another on North Street.Through investigation, officers learned a 17-year-old female from Florence was walking when she was approached by the accused.The woman was accused of striking the victim in the face, causing minor injuries, police said.
