Summerland mushroom farm destroyed in wildfire

A mushroom farm in the Garnet Valley area of Summerland has been destroyed in the Bald Range wildfire.
Brian Callow, co-owner of What The Fungus, said the entire farm was destroyed in the massive wildfire that has ravaged Summerland.
The farm has been operating for the past 12 years, providing locally grown gourmet mushrooms and providing a mentorship program for students from Canada and the U.S. as they learn about mushroom growing.
