Aldergrove athlete helps bring home rugby gold

Aldergrove’s 22-year-old Ava Van Santen, a Trinity Western University athlete, helped Canada claim gold at the FISU World University Championship Rugby Sevens, scoring four tries in the gold-medal game.Canada defeated France 20-0 in the final at the beginning of the month in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
