Body found in burning vehicle in Victoria

The Victoria Police Department says they’re investigating a vehicle fire where a person was found dead in the 700-block of Queens Avenue – which has been closed most of the day.
Around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, a VicPD officer who was on their way to work came across the burning vehicle and called 911. The Victoria Fire Department attended and extinguished the flames within minutes of arrival, police say.
