Abbotsford vice-principal gets 3-week suspension for messaging female students

A former Abbotsford high school vice-principal has received a three-week suspension of his teaching certificate for frequently messaging female students on social media.
A ruling posted Tuesday (Sept. 8) on the website of the B.C. Commissioner for Teacher Regulation indicates that Michael David Hendricks “repeatedly violated professional boundaries with students and engaged in conduct that had the potential to compromise students’ emotional safety and well-being.”
