22-year-old dies in plane crash near Mission

A 22-year-old man died in a plane crash east of Mission on Wednesday night (Aug. 26).
The man was the sole occupant of the small plane, according to a news release from Mission RCMP on Thursday (Aug. 27). Police said he was conducting a training flight.The crash was reported shortly before 10:30 p.m. in the area of Burns Road and Spratt Road in Hatzic, according to police.
