Abbotsford hosts Ukrainian Independence Day celebration

Ukrainians from all across the Fraser Valley travelled to Abbotsford on Aug. 22 to celebrate the Independence Day of the war-torn country.
The event was organized by RIY Vancouver, which is a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
According to RIY Vancouver, approximately 300 people took part in the Ukrainian Independence Day event, which kicked off in front of Abbotsford City Hall before moving to Mill Lake Park.
