Deputy Mayor, Karl Bandemer, takes over as acting mayor after Tom Henry announcement

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Deputy Mayor Karl Bandemer has taken over as acting mayor after the city of Fort Wayne and Henry family announced the passing of Tom Henry on Thursday.According to John Perlich, Public Information Officer with the city of Fort Wayne, "Deputy Mayor Karl Bandemer is considered to be Acting Mayor for official duties and actions of the mayor’s office."Bandemer began serving the role as acting mayor, Thursday.
