Man dead after attacking New Haven officers with a knife; ISP identifies deceased, officers involved

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) - A man is dead following an officer-involved shooting with the New Haven Police Department (NHPD) at a mobile home park late Saturday, Indiana State Police said.
ISP later identified the man as Robert A. Vicena, 37, of Fort Wayne. The three New Haven officers involved are Sgt. Howard Lininger, Patrolman Aaron Koch, and Patrolman Braden Pope. All officers are on administrative leave pending the investigation, per the department's standard policy.
