De Parijse AI-startup Gradium heeft 100 miljoen dollar vers geld opgehaald. Chipfabrikant Nvidia stapt in, waar Eric Schmidt en Yann LeCun eerder al vertrouwen met hun portemonnee uitspraken.
Gradium is slechts zeven maanden oud en ontstond als commerciële spin-off van Kyutai, het non-profitonderzoekslab dat door Xavier Niel in Parijs is opgericht als bolwerk voor Europese AI-onafhankelijkheid.
