TNA Contacted WWE To Book Released Star for Slammiversary During 90-Day Non-Compete

Apollo Crews says TNA contacted WWE about bringing him to Slammiversary while he was in his 90-day non-compete period.After his release as part of the post-WrestleMania 42 talent cuts, Apollo Crews made a one-off appearance as Uhaa Nation at TNA Slammiversary on June 28, 2006. However, he was still in his 90-day non-compete period with WWE and didn’t become a free agent until July 23.However, speaking on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, he said TNA contacted WWE ab
